MEZZANINES, WORK PLATFORMS, STRUCTURAL PLATFORMS

Mezzanines and work platforms contribute to material handling planning by maximizing vertical space, improving operational flow, and facilitating better organization of inventory and equipment. They offer scalability, allowing you to adapt to changing demands and to optimize your space utilization. Integrating mezzanines, custom lifts, and platforms solutions into material handling layouts enhances overall efficiency and contributes to the success of warehouse and facility operations. Building an elevated platform to manage accumulation conveyor

Constructing this elevated structural platform platform added 18,000 square feet and created space for 52 lanes of conveyor accumulation that infeeds to two fully automated palletizers. On top of the elevated platform is elevated conveyor: two rows of 26 lanes of accumulation conveyor that total 52 lanes (and over 6,000 linear feet of accumulation conveyor).

Reclaimed floor space under the conveyor accumulation platform allows for flexible mixed use of the space ranging from staging for cold storage, special palletizing of fragile fruit shipments and is accessible fork truck traffic.

Contact Us about Work Platforms and Mezzanies

Mezzanines, work platforms, and structural platforms are integral components of material handling planning, offering versatile solutions to optimize space utilization in warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities. Mezzanines are elevated platforms constructed between the floor and ceiling, effectively doubling the available floor space without the need for costly building expansions. They provide additional storage, assembly, or office space, accommodating diverse operational needs.

Elevate Your Material Handling. Work platforms, on the other hand, are smaller elevated structures designed for specific tasks such as order picking, inspection, or maintenance. They enhance workflow efficiency by providing safe and ergonomic access to elevated areas, machinery, or inventory. Work platforms can be customized with features like railings, gates, and access stairs to ensure worker safety and productivity.

Maximize Your Vertical Space. Both mezzanines and work platforms contribute to material handling planning by maximizing vertical space, improving operational flow, and facilitating better organization of inventory and equipment. They offer scalability, allowing businesses to adapt to changing demands and optimize their space utilization over time. Integrating mezzanines and work platforms into material handling layouts enhances overall efficiency and contributes to the success of warehouse and facility operations.
